Hello and welcome. If you’ve found your way here it’s probably because you want to find out more, or simply relive some old memories of one of Australia’s most beloved road motorcycle racers, the late Kenny Blake.
Wondering who Kenny Blake was? The best place to start is with his biography which you’ll find by clicking here.
Last June saw the 30th Anniversary of Kenny’s passing. This was remembered at the both the Isle of Man race on June 9th 2011 and in Melbourne.
The gathering in Melbourne was an excellent day and evening with many of Kenny’s friends and fellow riders gathering to commemorate his passing.
On the day I was also able to go to the cemetery where Kenny’s ashes are interred and to pay my respects. It was a very emotional afternoon, for this reason especially.
Recently I have been scanning all of my old negatives and slides from the period and have come across quite a few more pictures of Kenny, so you might like to look in the section devoted to my pictures to see some more.
